She went on to earn her doctorate at New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA. She received clinical training in ocular disease focusing on glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration, as well as trained in hard-to-fit contact lenses. Dr. Lily understands the value of healthy eyes and wants all to have the best quality of life through clear vision. She has spent time volunteering in the Dominican Republic, helping with free eye exams and distributing free eye wear to those with limited access to eye care. Dr. Lily is currently a member of the Board of Trustees for the Northern Virginia Optometric Society.

A fun fact about Dr. Lily: She was born and raised in the same town as where the finish line to the Iditarod dog sled race is - Nome, Alaska. When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Lily enjoys testing new recipes in the kitchen and spending time with her two small dogs, Izzey and Pepper.

Dr. Lily is fluent in Vietnamese, and can also complete eye examinations in Spanish.

Ted Chen, O.D.

Dr. Ted Chen earned his doctorate from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. Prior to earning his doctorate, he trained at Miami Dade College to obtain an Associate in Science in Opticianry. Dr. Ted diagnoses ocular problems to which we may not know we are prone. He will fit you for glasses, as well as for contact lenses. His own vision of optometric care is one of perfection, and he provides top-notch attention for all of his patients.

Outside of the office Dr. Ted finds a healthy balance in weight training and playing video games. He has a big sweet tooth and loves drinking bubble tea.
